SAJIDA Foundation under its SUDIN Programme, in collaboration with Chattogram City Corporation, has organised an “Inception Meeting” on July 18, said a press release.
CCC Mayor Md Rezaul Karim Chowdhury and Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Mohammad Tauhidul Islam presided over the meeting where other CCC officials and ward councillors were present.
For all latest news, follow The My News’s Google News channel. The primary objective of this meeting was to align the efforts of the SUDIN Programme with the Chattogram City Corporation’s initiatives in working for the betterment of slums, makeshift settlements, and pavement dwellers.
Fazlul Haque, senior advisor of SAJIDA Foundation, delivered welcome speech at the event.
Addressing the meeting as chief guest, Mayor Rezaul Karim encouraged the well-off of the society to come forward in donating for the cause of humanitarian response.
He also promised overall support in initiatives of SAJIDA Foundation within the jurisdiction of the city corporation. SUDIN is a data-driven urban poverty alleviation programme by SAJIDA Foundation.
