Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina attended the inauguration ceremony of Dohazari-Cox’s Bazar railway line, Cox’s Bazar iconic railway station.
The Prime Minister attended the function organized near Cox’s Bazar railway station at 12:15 pm on Saturday (November 11).Besides, he will inaugurate 16 more projects worth 53 thousand crore rupees in Cox’s Bazar.
These are Matarbari 1200 MW coal-fired power plant built under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, National Grid electricity connection project in Dwip Upazila Kutubdia through submarine cable. 595 m PC box girder bridge at Bankkhali River Kasturaghat, canal lining approach road and bridge at Cox’s Bazar Sadar under Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism. 4 projects of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, 4 projects of the Ministry of Education, 1 project of the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment. There are also 3 projects under implementation by Public Health, Public Works and Civil Aviation Authority.
