An earthquake of magnitude 5.6 was felt in New Delhi, the capital of India.

For the second time in the last three days, the earthquake that hit Nepal on Monday afternoon shook New Delhi and its surrounding areas.According to Indian media NDTV, an earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale struck the western part of Nepal at around 4:16 local time on Monday. This earthquake shook the capital of India and several other cities.

The epicenter of the earthquake that hit Nepal was 233 km north of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh state in western Nepal, the country’s National Earthquake Center said.

On November 3, a powerful earthquake of magnitude 6.4 struck the western part of Nepal. 155 people lost their lives in that earthquake. An earthquake struck the same region of Nepal on Monday.

People who were frightened by the earthquake were seen coming down the streets, but no casualty or damage has been reported so far.
