The government has increased the Fuel Oil Sales Commission on the sale of fuel oil. The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday afternoon.By increasing this Fuel Oil Sales Commission, the long-standing demands of traders related to fuel oil transportation and extraction have been fulfilled.

According to the notification, pump owners will now get a commission of 4 taka 28 paisa, 4 taka 34 paisa on petrol, 2 taka 2 taka on kerosene, and 2 taka 85 paisa on diesel for every 100 taka octane sold. Earlier, the commission was 2 percent on diesel, 3 percent on petrol and 4 percent on octane.

Earlier this month, on September 3, a section of petrol pump owners stopped pumping oil demanding this increase in Fuel Oil Sales Commission. After that they called off the strike with the assurance of the government.
