BNP has responded to the letter sent by the police to hold a rally in any field except the road. In the counter letter, BNP said that they want to hold the October 28 general meeting in Nayapaltan. It is not possible for them to go to any alternative place.This was said in a letter signed by Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Joint Secretary General of BNP on Thursday (October 26) afternoon.

Mentioning that there could be one to 100 lakh people in the Mahasambesh, the letter said, it is not possible for them to go to any alternative place for the Mahasambesh on October 28. The rally may extend to Vijayanagar Junction in the West and Fakirapool Junction in the East. Microphones will be installed at intervals up to Vijayanagar Junction and Fakirapool Junction.

Leaders and workers of any other political party will not participate in next Saturday’s rally except BNP leaders and workers. The party’s own 500 volunteers will be responsible for maintaining internal order in the assembly. In addition, the counter letter sent by BN to the police informed that the rally will start at two o’clock on that day and end before Maghrib Azan.

BNP’s letter stating that the rally will be peaceful said that all the preparations for organizing the peaceful rally on October 28 in front of the BNP head office in Nayapaltan have already been completed. It will not be possible to go to any other venue.

Earlier, BNP had written to the police to hold a mass meeting in Nayapaltan on October 28. In response, the police wrote to BNP on Wednesday asking for seven details including the names of two alternative places. The letter asked for seven details including the number of people in the rally, time, extent, where the microphone will be installed, whether anyone from other parties will be present.
