Earthquake panic: Over 200 garment workers were injured while rushing down during the earthquake in Comilla. 

The incident took place at Amir Shirt Garment located in Chupua area of ​​Chouddagram upazila on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway on Saturday (December 2) at 9:35 am. 

Confirming the matter, Chauddagram Upazila Health Officer Golam Kibria said, our multiple teams are working to serve the injured. It is not possible to tell the exact number of how many people have been admitted so far. But this number will be more than two hundred. Besides, one after another injured people are being admitted to the hospital. The number of injured may increase. 

Trinath Saha, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chauddagram Police Station said, I heard that many people were injured while rushing down due to the earthquake. We are trying to get details on this. 

Meanwhile, four people injured in Comilla EPZ and Comilla Women’s College are undergoing treatment at Comilla Medical College Hospital due to the earthquake. Director of Comilla Medical College Hospital Azizur Rahman Siddiqui confirmed this information. 

Meanwhile, the earthquake caused cracks in the walls of the mosque at Bagbaria in Laksam. The tiles are falling.
