Bail hearing of Mirza Fakhrul in High Court on Thursday.The High Court has fixed Thursday (December 7) for the bail hearing of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in the case filed by the police regarding the attack on the Chief Justice’s residence.
Justice Md. on Monday. The High Court bench of Salim and Justice Shahed Nooruddin fixed this day for hearing.Before this, an application for bail was made in the High Court on Sunday (December 3).
Detective Police (DB) arrested him from his home in Gulshan at around 9:30 am on October 29.
Earlier on October 28, the Chief Justice’s residence in Kakrail was attacked and vandalized during the BNP convention. In this incident, the police filed a case at Ramna police station. Apart from Mirza Fakhrul, the party’s standing committee member Mirza Abbas, BNP‘s standing committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and 59 activists were accused in that case.The court denied Mirza Fakhrul bail in that case and sent him to jail.
