Two sisters commit suicide by consuming poison due to their parents’ quarrel. Such a tragic incident happened yesterday in Uttar Pradesh, India.
The names of two young girls are Kashis (20) and Munni (18). They were residents of Puranpur police station in Pilvit district of Uttar Pradesh.
Quoting the local police, Indian news media Mynewsbd reported that their parents often quarreled at the home of the two young women. The two sisters were very unhappy due to repeated quarrels.
Alok Singh, a police officer at Puranpur police station, said that the parents of the two girls had a fight on Sunday as well. Fed up with this, they decided to commit suicide. Two sisters were taken to hospital after consuming poison but could not be saved.
No legal action was taken by the victims’ families in this incident. The bodies of the two sisters have been sent to the hospital for post-mortem, police said.
